It all started in the year 1995. My older brother Armando as working at a deli in the city of Irvine. Having the experience of working in the fast food industry he wanted to take it one step further. At the time our location was a donuts shop that was owned by an uncle of ours. One day in the month of July my mother received a call from him explaining to her that he wanted to sell his business. At first she didn't really want to even think about getting enslaved in business. She knew it would be hard work . After speaking to the family, my brother Armando convinced her to buy it off of my uncle and that he would run it. Little did we know that two weeks later my brothers life was going to be cut short. He was the victim of a deadly carjacking that left my family devastated. For a little more than a year my mom battled with depression but somehow she managed to pick things up where we had left off. Here we are twenty-one years later and still going strong keeping one of my brother's dreams alive.
